COGIMEX was established in France back in in 1991. The following year, PLG CONFECTION, our manufacturing facility located in Madagascar, became operational. This integrated structure was envisioned in order to control both production and wholesale distribution. Today this puts us in a unique position to offer the best products, together with the best level of service.

 

Our first clients were the French retailers Auchan and Promodès. We have been operating in the United States since the early 2000s, following the enactment of the African Growth & Opportunity Act. COGIMEX USA’s first clients were large American retailers such as Walmart and Steve & Barry’s, as well as clothing companies such as Jones Apparel and Gloria Vanderbilt. More recently, we decided to focus on developing our own label, FULL BLUE®,  and on diversifying our client base. We have since developped relationships with a great number of retailers accross the country, ranging from individual stores to larger regional chains.
